GoDive Mykonos is a friendly, professional PADI Dive Centre in Mykonos, a unique island in Cyclades Province, Greece. Except to meet experienced instructors speaking a variety of languages. Join us for scuba diving, snorkeling and boat trips to the crystal clear waters and scenic dive sites of the Aegean Sea and experience the underwater world in safety and high standards of quality. We regularly visit the famous shipwreck of ¨Anna II¨, the inspiring reefs in Kalo Livadi and Super Paradise , the cave systems in Tragonisi and other diving sites around the island. We offer an extensive range of PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving (Begginers) to Dive Master (Certified). Come and join us whether you are taking your first breath underwater, or having many years of experiences.

Go Dive Mykonos is situated in Lia at the south part of Mykonos (See our Map Location). We are happy to pick you up from wherever you stay in the island. Our prices include FREE return transfers to the diving centre, boat transfer to the diving site, full equipment hire, comprehensive insurance and guide instead.

EQUIPMENT:
Trusting the equipment you are using is very important. This is why GoDive Mykonos has invested in reputable equipment. All of our rental equipment is by Scubapro, one of the leading companies in the dive industry worldwide. The equipment is simple, rugged and reliable.

Moreover, GoDive Mykonos is proud to announce its award as Greece’s NEWest Scubapro Educational Association Dive Centre – after passing the scuba manufacturing strict qualifications and standards in safety and equipment.

S.E.A. is Scubapro’s international dive centre programme in which each centre is “committed to providing quality diving experiences and is engaged in a partnership with Scubapro to ensure high quality standards are constantly met”.

S.E.A. centres must fulfill specific safety qualifications, organisation and equipment standards set by Scubapro. They are committed and required to offer very recent Scubapro equipment, serviced at least annually, in order to maintain Scubapro’s high level of performance for relaxed and enjoyable diving experiences any time of the year.

Mykonos offers a range of great boat dives. The dive sites around Mykonos offer a wide diversity of marine life and experience levels to suit all types of divers. We have a choice of more than 10 dive sites and often visit areas which are less frequent (North part). Among the most famous diving experiences around Mykonos include: wreck diving at the 62m long cargo ship “Anna II” and at the 64m long passenger cargo ship “Peloponisos”, wall diving at Ntivounia and Chtapodia island , cavern/cave diving at Tragonisi island, reef/rocks diving around the Kalo Livadi & Marmaronisi island and many mores!!!

PADI DIVING COURSES_
PADI Discover Scuba Diving
A beginner’s half day mini course. Consists of the first part of the PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver course and can therefore be credited towards further PADI diving courses. We will also credit the cost of the Discover Scuba Diving towards one of these courses.


Duration: almost 2 hours.
Minimum age: 10 years or older.
Prerequisites: No pre-training required.
PADI Discover Snorkeling
An amazing experience for everyone. Join us on a guided tour to explore the spectacular underwater world. This program is also an excellent pre-training experience for children who want to explore the possibilities, but are too young to dive with scuba in the open water or before the PADI Bubblemaker program.


Duration: Half day.
Minimum age: None.
Prerequisites: No pre-training required.
PADI Bubblemaker
An underwater experience for younger children/kids. Under the direct supervision of a fully qualified diving instructor, this is a diving experience to a maximum depth of 2m.


Duration: 1-2 Hours.
Minimum age: 8 years or older.
Prerequisites: No pre-training required.
PADI Scuba Diver Course
The first PADI diving course. Designed for people with limited time. This course allows you to dive at a maximum depth of 12 meters under the supervision of an instructor. As the Scuba Diver course uses the same materials as the Open Water Diver course it is simple to upgrade to a full scuba diving license at a later time at any PADI dive center.


Duration: 2 Days.
Minimum age: 10 years or older.
Prerequisites: No pre-training required.
PADI Open Water Diver Course
The PADI Open Water Diver certification is the world’s most popular diving qualification. Do your PADI with us and become a fully qualified diver, allow you to dive worldwide.


Duration: 3-5 Days.
Minimum age: 10 years or older.
Prerequisites: No pre-training required.
PADI Open Water Diver Referral Course (2/4 Dives)
Finish your PADI course with us and become a fully qualified diver.


Duration: 2 Days.
Minimum age: 10 years or older.
Prerequisites: Scuba Diver certification or be enrolled in a scuba certification course.
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course
This program gives you the opportunity to gain more experience and explore specific sections of scuba diving. The course consist 5 dives: 2 core dives ‘Deep’ and ‘UnderWater Navigation and 3 elective dives where you have the opportunity to choose from the following list: Peak Performance Buoyancy, Digital Underwater Photography, Wreck, Search & Recovery, Enriched Air / Nitrox, Multilevel / Computer, Drift, Underwater Naturalist, Boat and Fish ID.


Duration: 2 Days.
Minimum age: 12 years or older.
Prerequisites: Open Water Diver qualification or equivalent certification.
PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) Course
This course is an innovative CPR / first aid program. EFR gives you the confidence to respond to medical emergencies. Is prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver Course and is ideal for divers and non divers.


Duration: 1 Day.
Minimum age: 8 years or older.
Prerequisites: No pre-training required.
PADI Rescue Diver Course
One of the most interesting and rewarding PADI courses. PADI Rescue Diver course develops your knowledge and skills so you can effectively perform diver assists and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid.


Duration: 2-4 Days.
Minimum age: 12 years or older.
Prerequisites: Advanced Open Water Diver and Emergency First Response qualifications (or equivalents).
PADI Specialty Diver Courses
We offer various PADI specialties, such us: Wreck Diver, Deep Diver, Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver, Underwater Photography, Underwater Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night Diver specialty, Boat Diver, Project A.W.A.R.E. Specialist and Fish Identification. All these courses are offered upon request and therefore we recommend you to book in advance. Ask us for a specialty that interests you!


Duration: 1-2 Days (depends on course).
Minimum age: 10-12 years or older (depends on course).
Prerequisites: Open Water Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver (depends on course).
PADI Master Scuba Diver Course
With the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, you have reached the highest non professional level in the PADI system of diver education. To become a PADI Master Scuba Diver you must log 50 dives and complete 5 specialty diver courses, as well as the PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent certification.
PADI Divemaster Course
The first rung on the PADI professional ladder. Learn and practice skills that will set you apart from other divers. The course can be followed as an internship or as a course.Duration: 2 weeks (course), 8-12 weeks (internship).

Minimum age: 18 years or older.
Prerequisites: PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent) and 40 logged dives.
Boat:
Enjoy your trip/dive with our NEW 7 m. Mar-co twenty three RIB boat. Equipped with two engines, a primary Suzuki 200hp four stroke and an auxiliary Suzuki 15hp four stroke.

Air compressor:
GoDive Mykonos has a brand NEW Paramina air compressor, providing clean and dry air of the highest standarts. It’s a Silent 15 TYPHOON model with a dual pressure storage system (50lt each).TIME SCHEDULE_

SAFETY;
Safety is our priority at GoDive Mykonos and our staff takes it extremely seriously. All our dive staff is trained in diving rescue techniques, CPR, first aid and Emergency Oxygen use. Our boat is equipped with safety equipment including; life jackets, first aid kits, emergency oxygen and fire extinguishers.

GoDive Mykonos is an affiliated dive operator DAN – Diving Alert Network. DAN Europe (Divers Alert Network Europe) is an international non-profit medical and research organization dedicated to the safety and health of recreational scuba divers. Is maintained on a 24/7 worldwide medical assistance in the event of diving emergency.

GoDive Mykonos is also certified by Bureau Veritas according to European standard EN 14467.

Our vessel and the safety equipment we carry conform to the coding standards set out by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency for commercial boat operators. The safety equipment includes spare lifejackets, flares, a VHF radio, Oxygen tank, medical kit, amongst other things, all of which your skipper would be only too pleased to show you. Your skipper knows the waters around this area very well and holds a commercially Powerboat Certificate. All our policies are under constant review and your opinions and feedback are very welcome.

ECODIVING:
At GoDive Mykonos, we always protect the environment taking caution to minimize our impact. We are organizing and conducting beach cleanups getting other environmental clubs involved. After we collect data, we submit it to Project Aware‘s Dive Against Debris data which support’s the development of coordinated policies and strategies to establish and parallel to improve waste management policies.
At GoDive Mykonos, we follow the guidelines for divers, snorkelers and underwater photographers set down by Project Aware (PADI), Moreover, we are asking all our divers to follow some simple rules. Most important rule is a strict “no touch” policy. If you want to protect the fragile marine eco-systems you just need to follow Project Aware’s guidelines:

SNORKELING:
Mykonos is ideal for snorkelling due to seas visibility which is excellent and it’s regarded as some of the best worldwide (average visibility <30metres). Seabed in the most beaches in Mykonos is a rocky/sandy mix with a great variety of sealife, fishes and sea plants.
Snorkeling is great fun, easy to learn and an ideal way to build up confidence in the water. It is accessible to anyone, young or old and is an enjoyable way to get the whole family involved

NITROX:
Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives. Typically you can stay down longer and get back in the water sooner and more restful.Program for the 2012 summer….
